It all seems like fun and games until it isn’t. There’s this trend where kids shout “Stop touching me!” and I have to say, it was pretty amusing at first. However, things took a turn when one student got sent to the office for ‘harassment’ over what started as a lighthearted joke. It really makes you reconsider the impact of our words.

It’s true, sometimes what starts as harmless fun can quickly escalate if it’s not taken seriously. It’s a shame that a joke led to someone getting in trouble. It’s important for kids to have fun and joke around, but they also need to understand the impact of their words and actions. Hopefully, this serves as a reminder for everyone to think twice before shouting things that might be taken the wrong way, even if they seem funny at the time. Balancing humor with consideration for others is key!
