Chemistry Fees
Hey everyone, my entire class was given rented textbooks, but I accidentally misplaced mine. Now I’m facing a $135 charge for a replacement! Is there any way to avoid paying this, or are there options available? My teachers have mentioned that I won’t be able to graduate if I don’t settle this fee, and I’m really hoping to find a solution. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
I totally get how frustrating that must be! Unfortunately, it sounds like the college has a policy where you have to pay for the rented textbook if it’s lost. You might want to check if there are any options for appealing the fee or if there’s a chance you could find a used copy for cheaper. Sometimes, colleges can be flexible, especially if you explain your situation to them. You could also consider reaching out to your professor or the financial aid office to see if they have any suggestions. It’s definitely worth asking before just accepting the fee. Good luck!
