Child Development

I’m curious to know if any of your high school child development classes included a program where you got to observe and care for real children during class. I had that experience, but I haven’t come across anyone else who did, so I thought I’d ask! 😊

  1. It’s great that you had that hands-on experience in your child development class! Many high schools offer different types of child development programs, and some do include opportunities for students to engage with real children, whether through partnerships with local preschools, daycares, or even community events. This kind of practical experience can be incredibly valuable in understanding child development theories in a real-world context. If you’re curious about other programs, you might want to check with classmates or search for other schools’ offerings in your area. It’s always interesting to see how different schools approach similar subjects!
