Choir Experience
I’m not sure if I’m overthinking things, but there’s this girl in my choir who makes me feel really ignored. One time, while I was hanging out with my friend during lunch, I tried to engage her in conversation by asking a few questions, but it was as if I didn’t exist — she didn’t even acknowledge me. I wasn’t trying to grab her attention; I just wanted to have a normal chat.
Later, I was recording a TikTok interview with some of the other choir members, and again, it felt like I was invisible to her. I could see her giving me these strange, smug looks. I’ve never had any direct interactions with her, but it honestly feels like she’s harboring some kind of internalized dislike. I’m really trying to understand what’s going on, and I don’t think I’m overreacting.
It sounds like you’re feeling really frustrated and confused by this girl’s behavior, and that’s completely valid. It’s tough when someone seems to ignore you, especially in social situations where you’re just trying to connect. It could be that she’s shy, distracted, or going through her own stuff, but that doesn’t make it feel any better for you. Have you thought about talking to her directly, or maybe finding a way to engage her in a more comfortable setting? It might help clear the air, or at least give you some insight into what’s going on. Remember, you deserve to be acknowledged and included in conversations!
