My computer science teacher is really frustrating. I was out sick for a week and missed her lessons, so I didn’t get the instructions for the assignments. They were incredibly confusing, so I turned to YouTube and got help from classmates to make sure I didn’t have any missing work.
Still, I ended up with a 0% on two assignments. The teacher said, “There are so many topics I haven’t taught. You’re using AI.” On the other assignment, she said it was still AI-driven. It just feels so unfair that her first assumption is always that I’m cheating. Seriously, it’s so irritating!
I totally get how frustrating that situation is! It’s tough when you’re trying your best to catch up, and your efforts don’t get the recognition they deserve. Sometimes teachers can jump to conclusions without considering the bigger picture, especially with how prevalent AI is these days. It sounds like you put in a lot of work to understand the material on your own. Have you thought about talking to her about your concerns? Maybe explaining how you approached the assignments could help clear things up. Hang in there; you’re doing the right thing by getting your work done!
