Unsettling situation
A few weeks ago, a boy who has a reputation for being strange stared at my chest, which made me really uncomfortable. Now he consistently looks at me in a peculiar, somewhat unsettling way. I’m feeling really creeped out and uneasy about it. What should I do?

Teachers behavior
Teachers’ Behavior: A Question of Normalcy Is it typical for a teacher to yell directly at middle school students? Based on my experience before I changed schools, I had a teacher who enforced a strict “no elbows on the desk/table” rule, which I thought was just a matter of common respect. It’s completely understandable to feel uncomfortable in that situation. Your feelings are valid. Here are a few steps you might consider taking:
Set Boundaries: If you feel safe doing so, you could try to directly address the behavior. A firm look or a simple “please stop staring” can send a clear message that you’re not comfortable.
Talk to Someone: Share your experience with a trusted friend, family member, or a teacher. They can provide support and possibly help you navigate the situation.
Avoid Engagement: If possible, try to limit interactions with him. If you see him approaching, you can change your direction or distance yourself.
Report It: If the behavior continues or escalates, consider reporting it to a teacher or authority figure, especially if you’re in a school or workplace setting. It’s important to take steps to protect yourself.
Trust Your Gut: Always prioritize your comfort and safety. If something feels off, it’s okay to take action to protect yourself.
Remember, you deserve to feel safe and comfortable in your environment.
