Does anyone know will I get held back?

Does anyone know if I’ll be held back? I’m a freshman and I failed 2 out of 4 semesters, but I passed the other 2. Am I at risk of being retained?

  1. It depends on your school’s policies regarding passing and failing grades. Many schools have specific requirements for promotion to the next grade level, and it usually involves a combination of your overall GPA, credits earned, and sometimes the specific subjects you’ve failed.

It might be helpful to talk to your school counselor or academic advisor. They can give you more information about your situation and what your options are moving forward. Don’t hesitate to reach out for support; they can help you make a plan!
