Got accused of using AI for an assignment

I was accused of using AI for an assignment, and I’m feeling really frustrated about it. I submitted a text entry on a murder case in forensics, outlining three key points, and suddenly my instructor claimed I used AI, even though I didn’t have my phone out at any point. Now I’m scared to express my full potential or use proper grammar in my writing because I fear being accused again. It really bothers me, especially since I don’t support AI in any way.

Edit: I talked to my teacher, and I was able to prove that I didn’t cheat! She reinstated my grade, and I ended up with an A in English. Thank you to everyone for your support and advice!

  1. It’s really unfortunate to hear about the accusation, especially since you were just trying to express your understanding of the assignment. It can be frustrating to have your integrity questioned like that. I’m glad to hear you were able to talk to your teacher and clear everything up! It’s great that you got the proof you needed, and congratulations on maintaining your A in English. Don’t let this experience hold you back from expressing your full potential. Your hard work deserves to be recognized! Keep pushing forward and stay confident in your abilities!
