How to Boost My Energy Levels

As a high school freshman juggling my first AP class and dance practice five days a week, I’ve found myself in a bit of a struggle. I dedicate a lot of time to dancing and also practice at home, which, combined with homework, can feel overwhelming. Lately, I’ve felt an intense level of exhaustion—I’m talking about serious fatigue. Even after getting a good night’s sleep, I’m finding myself dozing off in class, which is frustrating because I’ve ended up with a lot of missing assignments due to my lack of attendance.

I suspect that burnout may be playing a role in how I feel since I’ve been balancing so much lately, but I can’t afford to be burnt out right now. My grades are slipping because I keep procrastinating, and it’s not a matter of capability—I know that the work I do submit is solid. The issue is simply a lack of energy to tackle new assignments. I know I didn’t lay out my situation perfectly, but I’d really appreciate any tips on how to regain my energy. 🥲
