How to get out of procrastination loop?

Escaping the Procrastination Cycle: My Journey

I’ve come across countless articles on overcoming procrastination, and I want to share what worked for me.

About three months ago, I found myself stuck in a rut—skipping classes, avoiding homework, and wasting my days on video games and social media. My anxiety about upcoming exams and uncertainty about my future deepened during this time.

Thanks to the unwavering support from my family, I started turning my life around. Now, I’m on a path of self-improvement, something I never imagined I could achieve. Here are some strategies that helped me get here:

  1. Don’t Delay Until Tomorrow
You already know that pushing tasks to tomorrow usually leads to more procrastination. So why not tackle it today?

  2. Break It Down and Start Small
Dividing a task into bite-sized pieces makes it less intimidating, tricking your brain into viewing it as manageable. Begin with small steps and gradually build the habit.

  3. Prioritize Consistency Over Perfection
Don’t aim for perfection right from the start. Expecting too much too soon can lead to disappointment and throw you back into the procrastination trap.
