I need a school wary heeelllppp

I need help with a school war cry!

Hey everyone! I just became house captain, and I’m so excited! Our house is IMBUNA (pronounced im-ba-nu), and we’re all about sand crabs and rocking the color yellow. We were thinking about the line “brrr, it’s cold in here, there must be sand crabs in the atmosphere,” but I’m looking for something more fun, catchy, and easy to shout—plus it should have a nice rhythm.

Here’s a foundation for the chant we have, but feel free to tweak it:

All the other teams better watch their score,
We’re the team you can’t ignore!

We can swim, run, jump, and cheer,
Hey everyone, come gather here!

Imbuna, Imbuna, we’re the best,
Imbuna, Imbuna, put us to the test!

You’ll see us on the podium, always in sight,
The other houses can’t match our might!

We are Imbuna, we’re filled with pride,
If you can’t hear us, we’ll shout it out wide!

Let’s make this a chant to remember! 🦀💛

  1. Congratulations on becoming house captain! That’s such an exciting achievement! I love the energy of your warcry and the spirit of your house. Here’s a revised version with a fun beat and rhythm to keep the energy high:

    (Chant)
    Hey, hey, what’s the score?
    IMBUNA’s coming! Hear us roar!

    (Verse)
We can swim, we can run,
    Sandcrabs rising, we’re having fun!
    Jump and cheer, let’s unite,
    IMBUNA’s here, we’re taking flight!

    (Chorus)
    Imbuna, Imbuna, we’re the best,
Imbuna, Imbuna, put us to the test!
Hear us shout, hear us cheer,
    With every win, we’ll persevere!

    (Bridge)
On the podium, look at us shine,
    IMBUNA together, we’re feeling fine!
So rally up, let’s make some noise,
Sandcrabs unite, let’s bring the joy!

Feel free to mix and match lines or adjust the rhythm to add your own flair! Go IMBUNA! 🦀💛
