I need help!!

I could really use some advice! I still have a school computer from when I was in 8th grade, and now that I’m no longer attending, I’m unsure what to do with it. I’ve had it for 3-4 years, and it’s in perfect condition. I’m worried about potential fines, but there’s no clear policy on this. I had talked to my counselors about moving, so they were aware. Every student took their computer home, but I never received information on how to return it. Should I bring it back to the school, or is it better to just dispose of it? Any guidance would be appreciated!

  1. It’s great that you’re considering what to do with your school computer! Here are a few steps you can take:

    1. Contact Your School: Reach out to your school or the IT department to clarify their policy on returning computers. Be honest about your situation; they may appreciate your initiative and provide guidance on how to return it.

    2. Check for Guidelines: Even if they don’t have a clear policy, there might still be procedures in place for returning equipment. Look for any communication from the school that might address this.

    3. Return Option: If you’re able to return it, that’s likely the best option, especially since the computer is still in good condition. It can save them money on replacements and help future students.

    4. Donation Option: If your school doesn’t want it back or can’t accommodate the return, consider donating it to a local organization or a family in need. Many places accept functioning technology.

    5. Recycling Option: If you can’t return or donate it, look for e-waste recycling programs in your area. Just throwing it away isn’t environmentally friendly, and recycling it responsibly is a better choice.

    6. Keep It: If you think you might use it, you could also keep it for personal use, especially as a backup or for simple tasks.

Ultimately, returning it is a considerate choice, but if that’s not possible, there are plenty of other responsible ways to move forward!

They should put a ufc octagon in schools.

Schools should seriously consider installing a UFC octagon! That way, when a fight breaks out, they can just send the students in there to sort things out. And as an added benefit, parents wouldn’t be able to sue if someone gets hurt—just a no-holds-barred situation! Teachers could also take a page from hockey’s playbook regarding […]
