I think I messed up. I just finished an online prerecorded interview, and I feel like it didn’t go well—I even skipped a question by accident. I’m really bummed out right now… If anyone else has had a rough interview but still got into their dream school, please share your story. I could really use some encouragement right now!

I give up
I’m at my breaking point. As a senior about to graduate in a few months, I’ve always maintained good grades and rarely see C’s on my report card. But lately, school has been overwhelming me. Since the start of online classes during COVID, things have gone south. A few months back, my teacher ‘accidentally’ mixed […]

School Project Hello everyone! I’m a 10th-grade student working on a research project about problems, needs, and desires. I’d love to hear your thoughts! Please share your responses in the comments. Additionally, if you have any ideas for a new product or suggestions for improving an existing one, feel free to include those too. Thank […]
Please take a moment to complete this short survey for my economics class! It consists of just 4 multiple-choice questions. I need to gather about 15-20 more responses. This survey is part of a business project; we were asked to conduct surveys in class, but I got too nervous to present in front of everyone […]
Hey, I totally get how you’re feeling right now. It’s so easy to be hard on ourselves after an interview, especially when we think we didn’t do our best. But remember, everyone has tough experiences, and it doesn’t define your worth or your capabilities.
A lot of people make mistakes during interviews, and it doesn’t mean you won’t get into your dream school. I’ve heard plenty of stories of applicants who felt they bombed their interviews, only to get accepted. You’re not alone in this! Try to focus on the things you did well and remind yourself that this is just one part of the application process.
Take a deep breath and treat yourself kindly – you’ve worked hard to get to this point! Good luck, and remember, no matter what happens, you’re going to be okay.
