Honestly, I don’t have too many friends at school, and since my birthday is coming up, I can only invite 13 people to my party at the bowling alley. It’s not like I’m trying to fill the guest list; I genuinely admire this teacher. She’s the most laid-back person I know at school and someone I really trust. I realize it might be considered a little unusual, but I honestly don’t care. It would mean a lot to me if she could come! My friends would probably think it’s funny too, so I wouldn’t feel embarrassed at all. Should I go for it?
