I’ve made the decision not to attend my high school graduation, and while my family and friends are frustrated, I honestly don’t mind. My experience in high school was marred by relentless bullying, and when I reached out to the administration for help, nothing changed. Despite being an A and B student, I felt like I was constantly being blamed for problems. Any minor mistake, like being late occasionally, led to harsh punishments. Because of all this, I’ve chosen to skip the graduation ceremony. It feels like they expect us to be excited about it, but I just don’t see it that way. I’m curious if anyone else shares similar feelings.
