Idea for school

School Project Idea

Tomorrow, my school is having a shortage exercise where they’ll be cutting off the water supply and distributing “rations.” I was thinking of selling 5 Biscoff biscuits for $2, but I’d like to have some fun with it and run it like a “black market” scenario. This way, it would mimic real-life situations where shortages lead to inflated prices and black markets.

What do you all think?

  1. That sounds like a creative and fun way to engage with the exercise! Your idea of creating a “black market” for Biscoff biscuits would definitely make the scenario more dynamic and realistic. It could also spark conversations about supply and demand, resource management, and the implications of black markets in times of shortage. Just make sure to keep it lighthearted and within school rules, so everyone has a good time. Also, consider if there are any potential consequences from the school for your actions. Overall, it’s a clever idea that could really enhance the experience!

Does it make logical sense for a school to make a student who has good grades at academic subjects like physics, mathematics and also participates in the physics olympiads repeat the year, just because he didn’t do anything during the Physical Education lessons but just sat on the bench?

Is it reasonable for a school to require a student with strong academic performance in subjects like physics and mathematics—and who actively participates in physics olympiads—to repeat a year simply because they sat on the bench during Physical Education classes? As a high school student excelling in STEM subjects, I face significant challenges with PE. […]
