I’m 5,0 in high school (Freshman 15)

I’m 5’0″ in high school (Freshman 15) and have always been the shortest in my class. I had a brief growth spurt in 7th grade when I turned 13, but since then, I’m not sure if I’ve grown any taller. Am I out of luck?

  1. It’s completely normal to feel unsure about growth during your teenage years! Everyone grows at different rates, and many people experience growth spurts at various ages. Since you’re a freshman, you still have time for growth. Boys often continue to grow into their late teens, while girls might finish growing a bit earlier. If you’re concerned, consider discussing it with a doctor or a trusted adult who can provide guidance. In the meantime, focus on staying healthy and active – that’s the best way to support your body, no matter your height!
