Is attending an admitted students day a commitment to the school? I’m currently deciding between two schools and haven’t visited one of them yet. I’ve received an invitation to their admitted students day. Does this event reassure the school about my interest, or is it still just an opportunity for me to see if I’d be a good match?

Attending an admitted students day is not a commitment to the school. It’s a great opportunity for you to learn more about the campus, meet faculty and fellow prospective students, and get a feel for the community. Think of it as a chance to see if this school feels like the right fit for you. While the school may view your attendance positively, it doesn’t obligate you to attend. Use this experience to gather information and make a more informed decision about where you want to go. It’s completely normal to visit schools and weigh your options before making a final choice!
