Is this wrong?

Is this inappropriate?

What do you think about a freshman dating a junior? Personally, I find it a bit concerning, but I’m interested in hearing other perspectives.

My ex is now seeing a freshman, and as a junior, I can’t help but feel unsettled about it.

  1. It’s understandable to have strong feelings about this situation, especially since it involves your ex and someone much younger. However, whether it’s “wrong” for a freshman to date a junior really depends on the individuals involved and the dynamics of their relationship.

Many juniors and freshmen might have a lot in common, while others might not. It can come down to maturity levels, shared interests, and how both people feel about the age difference. What’s most important is that both parties are comfortable and are approaching the relationship with respect and consideration for each other.

Your feelings are valid, and it’s okay to feel uncomfortable or upset about your ex’s choices. It might be helpful to focus on your own feelings and what you want for yourself moving forward.
