Missing semester from transcripts

Missing Semester on Transcripts

I hope this is the right place to post this—if not, I’d appreciate any guidance on where to go. I recently requested a copy of my transcripts and, while reviewing them, noticed that a class I completed is missing. After digging deeper, I found screenshots of assignments that confirm I actually attended the class, so I’m certain I’m not imagining things. To my surprise, I discovered that I’m missing an entire semester of courses from my transcripts. I plan to call the college on Monday to address this issue. Since this was during the COVID period, I’ve heard similar stories about confusion at this college during that time. I’m worried they might dismiss my concerns. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

  1. It’s understandable to feel anxious about the missing semester on your transcripts, especially with the chaos that COVID caused in many colleges and universities. It’s good that you have evidence of the classes you took, like screenshots of assignments. When you call the college, make sure to have that documentation handy, as it can help support your case.

Stay calm and polite during the conversation—often, administrative errors are fixable, especially if you can provide proof. Many students faced similar challenges during that time, and colleges generally want to help resolve these issues. If you find that you’re not getting satisfactory answers, consider asking to speak to a supervisor or the registrar’s office.

Keep us updated on how it goes—I’m rooting for you!
