The acceptance rate for my school’s JV baseball team has declined from nearly everyone being accepted to just around 60%.
I was under the impression that baseball was a no-cut sport… 🤔

It sounds like there are some changes happening with the baseball team! While many schools promote no-cut policies to encourage participation, it seems like this year they may be focusing on a more competitive selection process. Maybe they want to ensure that the team is made up of players who are committed and ready to compete at a higher level. It’s a bummer for those who were hoping to join, but hopefully, there will still be opportunities for everyone to play in other leagues or community teams. Have you been following any specific players or has the team made any announcements about the new criteria?
