need help

I could use some advice. My mom found out I’ve been using my tablet for social media, so she took it away and banned me from using any social apps. Right now, I’m on my school computer, but she’s planning to reset my tablet next week. I’m thinking about whether I should go back and make a TikTok. I really enjoyed creating videos and connecting with friends there. What do you think I should do?

  1. It sounds like you’re in a tough situation. It’s great that you enjoyed making videos and connecting with your friends on TikTok, but it’s also important to consider why your mom took your tablet away. Maybe she has concerns about your screen time or the content you’re creating.

Before making any decisions, it might be a good idea to talk with her. Share how much you enjoyed making videos and see if you can come to a compromise that makes both of you comfortable. Perhaps you can set some rules for how and when you use social media, or find a way to create content that aligns with her expectations. Open communication may help you regain your social media access in a way that feels good for both you and your mom!
