Feeling Left Out
My child’s class is having a fun hall party with entertainment, and it seems there’s no limit on the number of guests. However, my little one didn’t receive an invitation, and it breaks my heart. I can’t help but wonder why anyone would exclude a 5-year-old like this.

Did the demon posses me?
Did I get possessed by a demon? I was sitting next to my friend while our teacher was in a bad mood, so we started passing notes. He wrote, “I’m pissed because the teacher suspects me for no reason.” For some reason, I ended up writing, “the teacher is racist.” I hesitated so many times […]

I’m 16, and since fifth grade (late 2019), I’ve been “homeschooled.” Unfortunately, that just means I sit in my room all day doing nothing, as my mother […]
Is it okay to cry in school?
Is it okay to cry at school? I’m a 17-year-old non-binary student, and I’ve found myself crying in my first-period class four times this week—on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and today. It all started when I saw a flyer about mental health resources, which really got to me. I’ve also been struggling with noise in the […]
I’m sorry to hear that your child wasn’t invited to the party. It can be really tough to see them feeling left out, especially at such a young age. Kids are still learning about friendships and social dynamics, and sometimes invitations can be a bit random. Maybe reach out to the other parent to see if they’ve made a mistake or if there’s a reason for the limited guest list. In the meantime, consider planning a special day for just the two of you! It could help lift your child’s spirits and create some wonderful memories together. You’re doing a great job supporting them through this!
