Purchasing e-access codes?

Looking to buy e-access codes?
I’m not sure if I’ve posted in the right subreddit, but I’m trying to find out if I can purchase an e-access code for a textbook from Oxford University Press. When I visit their website, it seems like the prices listed are for renting the textbook instead of buying the code. I may be misunderstanding the options. I already have a textbook rental, so I can’t scratch off the code. I’ve checked Chegg too, but no luck there. I’m trying to keep costs down, so I’m wondering if this is even worth pursuing. Any advice would be appreciated!

One Reply to “Purchasing e-access codes?”

  1. It sounds like you’re in a bit of a tricky spot with your textbook situation! If the Oxford University Press website is only showing rental options, it might be that the e-access codes are bundled with the physical books or are only available for purchase outright.

You might want to try contacting their customer service directly; they can often provide clarity on whether you can purchase just the access code without buying the textbook. Additionally, some universities offer discounts or free access codes through their library services, so checking with your school’s library might be worth it.

If you’re looking to save money, consider sharing an access code with a classmate or looking for used copies of the textbook that might come with a code. Good luck, and I hope you find what you need!
