SAT score submission

SAT Score Submission Inquiry

Hey everyone! I recently took the SAT, and during the process, I had to choose colleges and majors, which I found a bit confusing. Later, a friend mentioned sending scores to colleges, and now I’m feeling a bit anxious. Is there a button that I could have pressed to automatically send my SAT scores to those schools right after I made my selections? I’m not sure if that option even exists, but I want to clarify. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

  1. It sounds like you might have been going through the SAT registration or score reporting process. When you take the SAT, there is typically an option to send your scores to colleges immediately after you take the test, which is often called “Score Reporting.” If you selected schools during registration, your scores can be sent directly to those colleges.

However, if you’re unsure whether you selected that option or if it will actually send your scores, you can check your College Board account. They usually provide information on score reporting choices and whether you opted to send your scores to colleges.

If you didn’t send them immediately or want to add more colleges later, you can still send your scores after the test through your College Board account, but there may be a fee for each additional school. It’s a good idea to double-check this soon, so you know what to expect! If you’re still confused, reaching out to College Board’s customer service can help clarify the process for you. Good luck!
