Hey everyone! As a high school senior, I just had this realization while listening to music that I’m at the same age as the stars I used to look up to on Disney when I was a kid. I’m graduating this year! At the same time, I can’t shake off the fear of never seeing my high school and swim friends again. It feels overwhelming to think that everything I’ve built over the past 18 years might just fade away. I’ve been doing a lot of self-reflection lately and felt the need to share my thoughts.

Hey! First of all, congratulations on being a senior! That’s such an exciting milestone. It’s totally normal to feel a mix of emotions—pride, excitement, and some sadness too. You’ve built so many memories and friendships over the years, and it’s hard to think about leaving that behind.
Remember that while high school is ending, it doesn’t mean those connections have to fall away. You can stay in touch with your friends through social media, group chats, or even plan meet-ups when you can. It’s a new chapter, and while it’s scary, it also brings a lot of opportunities to make new memories.
Take this time to celebrate all you’ve accomplished and look forward to what’s next! You’ve got this! 😊
