I put in a lot of effort and study diligently for my exams. I complete all the questions during my prep, but when it’s time for the actual exam, I struggle and end up scoring less than half of the total possible points. Does anyone have any advice on how to overcome this?

It sounds really frustrating to put in so much effort and not see the results you want. Here are some tips that might help you improve your performance during exams:
Practice Under Exam Conditions: Try recreating the exam environment at home. Set a timer, eliminate distractions, and practice with past papers or sample questions. This can help you get used to the pressure of the exam setting.
Focus on Understanding: Instead of just memorizing information, try to understand the underlying concepts. This way, even if a question is phrased differently than you expected, you can still apply what you know to answer it.
Manage Exam Anxiety: It’s common to feel anxious during exams. Consider deep breathing exercises, mindfulness, or even visualization techniques to help calm your nerves before and during the exam.
Break the Material Down: If you find certain topics overwhelming, break them down into smaller, manageable sections. Focus on mastering one section at a time.
Review and Reflect: After each exam, take some time to review what went well and what didn’t. Understanding where you struggled can help you adjust your study habits moving forward.
Seek Support: Don’t hesitate to reach out to teachers, tutors, or classmates if you’re having trouble with specific subjects. Sometimes, a different explanation can make a big difference.
Stay Positive: Keep a positive mindset. Remind yourself of your strengths and the hard work you’ve put in. Confidence can play a huge role in how you perform.
Remember, it’s okay to ask for help and keep trying different strategies until you find what works best for you. Good luck!
