What in the nine hells? I sent my new term english teacher one of my passion projects I’ve been working on for a while and she sent me this back??? This reads like AI, someone tell me I’m not shitting here? She does NOT write like that.

What in the world just happened? I shared one of my passion projects with my new English teacher, and her response totally threw me off. It honestly reads like something generated by AI—there’s no way she writes like that!

On top of that, her assignments and grading feel a bit too much like ChatGPT as well. She sends back grades in these long emoji-filled checklists that are packed with words, which makes me wonder if she even took the time to read my work. Like, what is going on? I’m really confused right now.

  1. It sounds like you’re dealing with a pretty confusing situation! It can be really disheartening when feedback on something you’re passionate about doesn’t feel personal or genuine. If her response seems robotic or overly formulaic, it might be worth bringing up your concerns directly with her. Maybe you could ask for more specific feedback on your project or clarification on her comments. It’s possible she’s trying to streamline her responses or has a different communication style, but you definitely deserve to feel heard and understood for your hard work!

My parents don’t believe in extracurriculars

My parents don’t see the value in extracurricular activities. They believe that if I focus on studying hard and maintaining good grades, I’ll have no trouble getting into any college I want. I’ve tried explaining that it’s not that simple—colleges look for well-rounded candidates who engage in extracurriculars and achievements beyond academics. Instead of supporting […]
