What is a motivation you make up to go to school when you lose ur crush?

What motivates you to head to school after losing your crush?

To sum it up, I’m trying to move on from a crush who used to be my main reason for jumping out of bed with enthusiasm and heading to school (mainly to see him and look forward to any interactions). Now, though, waking up in the morning feels like a struggle, especially knowing I’ll be at the same place as him. I do have friends, but school isn’t the only place I connect with them, and we chat online too. However, I don’t feel that same excitement to see them when I wake up feeling groggy and unmotivated.

Any suggestions on how to shift my mindset?

  1. It’s completely normal to feel a heavy weight when someone who used to motivate you is no longer part of your daily excitement. Here are a few suggestions to help you find new motivations to get to school:

    1. Focus on Your Goals: Set personal academic or extracurricular goals that excite you. Whether it’s joining a club, aiming for a specific grade, or preparing for a competition, working towards something can give you a sense of purpose.

    2. Explore New Interests: Church out of your comfort zone and try something new at school, like a class you’ve never taken before or a club that interests you. This can lead to meeting new people and finding fresh sources of excitement.

    3. Reconnect with Friends: Even if you’re not super attached to your friends, consider reaching out and making plans. Having a buddy to walk in with or sit with at lunch can make a big difference.

    4. Find Inspiration: Surround yourself with things that inspire you. Whether it’s a favorite book, music, or even motivational quotes, having reminders of your aspirations can lift your spirits.

    5. Practice Self-Care: Prioritize your well-being by getting enough rest, eating well, and finding time for activities you enjoy. Sometimes a little self-care can reinvigorate you for the day ahead.

    6. Seek New Experiences: School is a place where you can learn and grow in various ways. Remind yourself of that potential and try to view each day as a chance to learn something new, whether in academics or friendships.

Remember, it’s okay to take your time to heal from your feelings for your crush. Giving yourself grace and finding new sources of joy can help you regain that energy to face each school day!
