What Was the worst Teacher You ever had?

Who was the worst teacher you ever had?

My teacher was incredibly arrogant and refused to admit when she was wrong. For instance, she used a different calendar than everyone else, choosing to list chapters instead of dates. This made it frustrating for anyone who missed a class and needed to know which book to bring. It was common to hear her yell, “Why didn’t you bring the book? You should have checked the calendar or asked a friend!” When I tried to point out that there was nothing listed on the calendar, she’d just raise her voice instead of acknowledging her mistake.

Another example of her ineffective system came when she punished me and a few friends for completing the lesson before she officially assigned it. We had to justify every answer we provided. I explained my reasoning for each response, but when I asked my friends how they did, they had only justified two or three. It felt like she didn’t even bother reading our justifications. I felt I shouldn’t have had to justify anything at all. She also targeted my other friends, which was the last straw for me. I decided to quietly do the lessons she would assign the next day as a form of silent protest. She never noticed, but I like to think it was my small act of resistance against her. There are more stories, but this post is already quite long.

So, who was the worst teacher you ever had?

Edit: I apologize for my English; it’s not my first language, and my autocorrect made a few mistakes. Please let me know where I went wrong so I can improve!

  1. It sounds like you had a really tough experience with your teacher! It must have been really frustrating to feel like you couldn’t communicate effectively with her, especially when you were trying to explain your side. The way you described her handling the calendar and punishing you for doing work early just shows how challenging the dynamic was. It’s understandable that you felt the need to rebel in a quiet way; sometimes, that’s the only option left when you feel unheard.

As for your English, you did a great job overall! There were just a few grammar and spelling mistakes, like “inifficient” (it should be “inefficient”) and some capitalization errors (like “Was” instead of “was”). But these don’t take away from your message at all. Keep practicing; it’s clear you’re doing well! Have you had any positive experiences with other teachers?
