A&P Clayton State Dual Enrollment
I’m gearing up for a premed path in college and looking to dive into relevant coursework. So far, I’ve tackled AP Chemistry, AP Psychology, and AP Biology. Next semester, I’m considering an asynchronous Dual Enrollment course in Anatomy and Physiology with Clayton State University. How challenging is this course? Would it be a good choice for me?
It sounds like you’re on a solid path with your coursework! Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) can be quite challenging, especially since it involves memorizing a lot of concepts and terminology. However, since you’re planning a premed track, taking this course is definitely worthwhile.
Here are a few things to consider:
Course Difficulty: Many students find A&P challenging due to the volume of information and the depth of understanding required. However, your background in AP Biology will likely help you grasp the material more easily.
Preparation: Make sure you’re ready for the workload. Be prepared to dedicate time to studying and reviewing materials regularly. Utilizing resources such as textbooks, online videos, and study groups can be really beneficial.
Online Format: Since it’s an asynchronous course, you’ll have flexibility, but that also means you’ll need to be disciplined with your schedule to keep up with the material.
Relevance to Premed: This course will provide you with valuable knowledge that is directly relevant to your medical studies in the future. It will also help you develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of human biology.
If you’re interested in the subject and willing to put in the effort, it would be a great addition to your academic plan. Good luck!
