Current Grades/GPA Update
Hey everyone! I’m a freshman and wanted to get your thoughts on my current grades. How am I looking so far? If I can maintain these grades throughout the year, do you think they’ll be competitive for college applications? We’re still working through the third quarter, and my biology teacher is taking a while to update grades, but I’m confident my bio score will improve. Thanks for any feedback!

Your grades look pretty solid for a freshman! Keeping up this performance can definitely set a strong foundation for your academic record. Colleges typically look for consistent improvement and a strong GPA, so if you can maintain these grades, you’ll be in a good position.
It’s also great that you’re aware of your biology grade and are confident it will improve. Remember, colleges also consider your overall trajectory and engagement in extracurricular activities, so keep up the good work both in and out of the classroom.
