I’ve looked online, but most options are either too pricey or have already passed their deadlines. I would greatly appreciate any assistance!

It can be challenging to find suitable programs, but there are still options you can explore! Here are a few suggestions for summer programs and camps in the Houston area focused on medicine and science for high school seniors:
Baylor College of Medicine: They often have summer programs that focus on healthcare and science. Check their website for any upcoming offerings.
University of Houston: Look into their summer workshops or camps in science and medicine. Sometimes they offer programs for high school students that are more affordable.
Texas Children’s Hospital: They might have volunteer opportunities or programs for high school students interested in medicine.
Health Science Center at Texas A&M: They may have workshops or summer programs related to health and science.
Local community colleges: Check with community colleges in the Houston area; they sometimes offer summer courses or workshops that can expose you to health sciences.
Check with local hospitals: Some hospitals offer shadowing programs or internships for high school students that could provide valuable experience.
Online Programs: If you’re open to virtual options, there are several online summer programs offered by various universities that might fit your interests and budget.
