There’s been a significant rise in fight videos lately, particularly with many reposts of non-original content being shared for entertainment and karma. What are your thoughts on this trend and its relevance to the community?
I think fight videos can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, they can be entertaining and provide a glimpse into different cultures or unexpected situations. They can spark conversations about conflict resolution, social dynamics, and even sportsmanship. On the other hand, there’s a risk of glorifying violence or trivializing serious situations.
As for their place in the sub, I believe it’s important to maintain a balance. Original content should definitely be prioritized, as it adds more value to the community. Reposts can dilute the experience, especially if they’re just for karma without any meaningful context. Overall, I think it’s key for the community to engage in discussions about the impact of sharing such videos and what we want to promote in this space. What do you think?
