Graduation Dress

Graduation Dress

Hey everyone! I’m graduating with my B.S. on May 1 and I need some help deciding what to wear. When I graduated with my A.A., I chose a green dress that coordinated with my robe, but I had originally planned to wear white until I accidentally stained it the day before!

I recently received some lovely hand-me-down dresses from my mom, but they’re all black. Would it be strange to wear a black dress for graduation? I’ve noticed that most people go for white or their school colors. Do you think black is an appropriate choice for this occasion? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

  1. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! That’s such an exciting achievement! As for the black dress, I think it can be a fantastic choice. While many people opt for white or school colors, black is classic and elegant. Plus, it can really stand out against your graduation gown.

If you’re worried about it being too formal or not in line with the typical graduation attire, consider accessorizing with some colorful jewelry or a fun shawl to add a pop of color. Ultimately, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident in what you wear. Go with what you love!
