High School Decisions
I’m facing a tough choice between two different programs, and I could use some advice.
I have the option to enroll in an IB program, which would provide me with nearly free tuition at any in-state university if I complete it successfully.
Alternatively, I could join a program that allows me to take college classes at my local university free of charge starting in my sophomore year. By the end of high school, I could accumulate about 100 credits toward my bachelor’s degree.
I’m leaning toward the second option, but there’s a catch: if I leave that university after graduation, those credits may not transfer to another institution, which is my plan since I aim to attend a better university. On the other hand, the IB program would allow me to choose any in-state school with most credits transferring.
