I’ve come across countless articles on this topic, and I wanted to share my own experience.

About three months ago, I found myself stuck in a frustrating routine — rarely attending classes, neglecting my homework, and spending hours gaming or mindlessly scrolling through social media. My situation deteriorated to the point where I feared exams and felt lost about my future.

Thanks to the unwavering support of my family, I managed to turn things around. Now, I’m on a journey of self-improvement alongside many others. Honestly, I’ve never gotten this far before, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made. Here are some strategies that helped me along the way:

  1. Don’t Procrastinate Until Tomorrow
    You know you’re likely to put it off again if you delay it until tomorrow. So, why not tackle it today? If the task feels daunting, try this next tip:

  2. Break It Down and Start Small
    Dividing the task into smaller, manageable pieces can make it feel less intimidating. This trick helps your brain perceive it as easier, increasing your chances of completing it. Begin with small steps and gradually build a routine.

  3. Consistency Over Perfection
    Believe me, striving for perfection from the outset can lead to disappointment and drive you back into procrastination. Focus on being consistent instead.
