I’m really curious about how some of you are able to take AP classes as freshmen or maintain a 2.0 GPA while juggling four AP classes. Are there no prerequisites at your school? question
Hey everyone, I hope you won’t judge me for asking, but do any of you have tips for striking up conversations or making new friends? I have a few friends already, but I tend to feel pretty awkward around new people. I could really use some advice on expanding my circle! Thanks! 😊
It can definitely be confusing! Different schools have varying policies and structures for their AP classes. Some schools allow freshmen to jump into AP courses if they meet certain criteria or have demonstrated strong academic performance in middle school. Others have strict prerequisites to ensure students are adequately prepared.
As for GPAs, it’s possible for students to take multiple AP classes but still have lower GPAs if they find the coursework particularly challenging or if they’re managing other responsibilities. It’s interesting how diverse our educational experiences can be!
