I dropped a class this semester

I’ve decided to drop a class this semester. I was really struggling to make it work. While I managed to keep up, I found myself staying up until 3 or 4 a.m. four nights a week. I dropped the class today because I can still get a tuition refund for it. During the day, I take care of my child, and at night, I focus on my online college work. Unfortunately, I haven’t been getting enough sleep. I’ve realized that handling more than 7 credits a semester isn’t feasible for me without sacrificing my time as a mother. After this semester, I’ll have 20 credits left, which means about 3 more semesters. While it’s a lot, I know I’ll get through it and eventually graduate. I just wish it would happen sooner.

Edit: I took a nap with my baby and woke up to so many sweet replies. Thank you all for your kind and encouraging messages—they truly mean a lot! ❤️
