I hope this isn’t a silly question, but I’ve noticed many of you have user flairs like freshman (9th), sophomore (10th), and junior (11th). Can someone explain how I can get one? I know they’re usually found on the right side of the subreddit’s info, but I can’t seem to find them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Don’t worry, you’re not stupid for asking! User flairs are a way to show your role or year in school, and they can vary from subreddit to subreddit.

To get a user flair, you usually need to follow these steps:

    1. Check the sidebar: If you’re in the subreddit, look to the right side of the screen (on desktop) or tap on the “About” section at the top (on mobile). The rules or guidelines for flairs are often listed there.

    2. Flair settings: Some subreddits allow you to select your flair by clicking on your username or a dedicated “flair” button within the subreddit.

    3. Follow the subreddit’s rules: Make sure you’re following any specific rules they might have for getting a flair, such as being a member for a certain amount of time or having a specific post count.

    4. Ask the moderators: If you’re still having trouble, don’t hesitate to reach out to the moderators of the subreddit. They can provide guidance on how to set up your flair.

Hope this helps! Just take your time, and you’ll get it sorted out.
