I just received another disappointing test grade…here we go again. I’m feeling really overwhelmed and just can’t stop crying. No matter how hard I study, it seems like I still end up with a poor outcome. I’ve put in so much effort, and it’s so frustrating to see others who didn’t even study do better. I’m feeling really down about this, and I’m worried about how it will affect my GPA. I could really use some support right now.

Has anyone else received an email from George Mason University? It says I’ve been “selected to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Engineering,” and they included an invitation card.
I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. It’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed and frustrated after putting in a lot of effort and not getting the results you hoped for. Please remember that one test doesn’t define your worth or intelligence, and many people face similar struggles. It’s important to talk to someone who can help, whether it’s a friend, family member, or a counselor. You’re not alone in this, and there are people who care about you and want to support you. Take a moment to breathe and remind yourself that it’s okay to feel upset, but it’s also important to reach out for help. You’re stronger than you think.
