Is a B considered good?
I’m currently in eighth grade taking honors Algebra 1, and I have a B. I’m worried that if my grades stay at this level, my GPA won’t be high enough for college. I just want to know if I should be concerned or if I’ll be fine.

A B is definitely considered a good grade, especially in an honors class like Algebra 1! It shows that you understand the material and are putting in effort. Colleges often consider a range of factors in addition to GPA, such as extracurricular activities, standardized test scores, and personal statements.
In eighth grade, it’s more important to focus on learning and improving your skills than to stress too much about GPA. If you’re worried about your grades, consider talking to your teacher for feedback, reviewing your study habits, or getting extra help if you need it. Keep in mind that college is still a long way off, and many students improve their grades in high school. Stay positive and keep working hard!
