is going to an admitted students day committing to the school?

Does attending an admitted students day mean I’m committing to that school? I’m currently deciding between two schools, and I haven’t had a chance to visit one of them yet. I’ve received an invitation to their admitted students day. Is this event meant to reassure the school about my potential enrollment, or is it just a way for me to explore if I would be a good fit there?

  1. Attending an admitted students day is not a commitment to the school; it’s more of an opportunity for you to explore and gather information about the program and campus environment. It’s perfectly normal to visit multiple schools before making a decision. Admissions offices are generally aware that students are still weighing their options, so they appreciate you taking the time to visit. Think of it as a chance to see if this school feels like the right fit for you. It’s a great opportunity to meet faculty, ask questions, and interact with other students who might become your future classmates. Enjoy the experience and trust that it will help you make the best decision for yourself!
