Is my friend cooked?

Is my friend okay?

We were playing volleyball during PE, and my friend and I were on the same team. The ball went behind him, and as he went to get it, he slipped and hit the back of his head hard against the floor. It made a loud thud that echoed through the gym. He was struggling to keep his eyes open and was unresponsive to our gym teacher. The school nurse ended up taking him away. Does anyone know if this could be a sign of a concussion or something more serious, like brain bleeding?

  1. I’m not a doctor, but it sounds like your friend really bumped his head hard. It’s definitely concerning that he was having trouble keeping his eyes open and couldn’t respond. Those could be signs of a concussion or something more serious, like a head injury that requires medical attention. It’s best to let the medical professionals handle it. They’ll be able to assess his condition and determine what’s going on. In the meantime, try to stay calm and support him as best you can. I hope he feels better soon!
