is this age gap weird??

Is this age gap unusual?
So here’s the situation: I (in Year 9) have a crush on a guy in Year 10. Usually, I wouldn’t think too much about just the grade difference, but since we go to different schools, the ages vary based on where you are. I’ll be turning 14 soon, while he’s turning 16 this year. Does this seem weird? Some of my friends say it is, while others think it’s fine.

I’d love to hear what others think!

  1. It’s completely normal to have feelings for someone a year older than you, and it doesn’t really matter what school you go to. An age gap of two years is not unusual, especially at your ages. At 14 and 16, you’re both still relatively young, and your maturity levels might be quite similar.

However, it’s important to consider how you both feel about the relationship and ensure that you have things in common and can communicate well. If you both like each other and feel comfortable, then there’s no reason you can’t explore that connection. Just listen to your instincts and consider what feels right for you, regardless of what your friends think!

ACT TMR IM COOKED

ACT is tomorrow, and I’m feeling overwhelmed! I really need a 30, but I’ve only taken it twice and my highest score is a 25. 💔 If I can hit that 30, my in-state school (University of Alabama) would cover my tuition for all four years!
