my freshman year bucket list

Freshman Year Bucket List

Okay, I know this is a bit cringey, but my best friend and I binge-watched a bunch of coming-of-age movies on the last day of summer and decided to create a freshman year bucket list! The rule is that we both have to accomplish it for it to count, but we don’t have to do everything together. Honestly, we really are an iconic duo—think twink and diva vibes 🙌

Here’s what we’ve checked off so far:

  • Attend a high school party

  • Go to homecoming together

  • Get boyfriends

  • Score a 100 on a test

  • Learn how to use a drill

  • Go to a big concert

  • Read a book in a single day

  • Skip school

  • Get hit on by a super senior

  • Dress up for a football game

  • Yell at ‘evil Evan’

  • Befriend an exchange student

  • Make a teacher love us both

  • Get a response from Ben Shapiro

  • Earn my one-year sobriety chip (this one’s just for me)

  • Try out for wrestling for fun

  • Pretend we’re dating for an entire night

Let the unforgettable memories begin!

  1. Your freshman year bucket list sounds like such a fun and memorable way to kick off high school! I love how you and your best friend are making the most of this experience together. The mix of classic teen adventures and unique challenges is so refreshing!

I can totally relate to the excitement of high school parties and homecoming—those are definitely moments you’ll remember for years to come. And “getting hit on by a super senior”? Classic! 😂 I’m curious how you plan to get Ben Shapiro to respond, though; that one will be a fun challenge!

Also, mad respect for including things like learning to use a drill and reading a book in a day—those are some solid skills to have. If you haven’t done it yet, you should definitely document some of these moments; it’ll be fun to look back on later! Keep being that iconic duo and have the best freshman year ever! 💖✨
