My quarter is coming to an end…

As the end of the quarter approaches, I wanted to share a bit about my journey.

I feel incredibly grateful to have only four classes this semester, and I’m excited to say that I’ve managed to earn all A’s. It’s hard to believe how far I’ve come—just a couple of years ago during my freshman and sophomore years, I struggled significantly and ended up with all F’s, ultimately getting expelled.

Starting junior year at a new school, I made a commitment to turn things around. I focused on my studies, which paid off. By the time senior year rolled around, I had a lot of ground to cover, with 11 online classes to tackle alongside 7 in-person courses. I dedicated myself fully and managed to complete everything in just four months.

Now, as this new semester kicks off, I’ve been granted early dismissal since I already have enough credits to graduate. Although initially assigned five classes, I was able to work with my school counselor to adjust my schedule down to four. One of my classes is as a gym teacher’s assistant, which makes for a pretty laid-back day.

This means I’m now at school for just four hours a day, and on Fridays, I’m there for only 80 minutes. It feels incredible to have less homework and stress, freeing up more time for myself.

My biggest piece of advice? Work hard and prioritize the things that matter most. It’s definitely worth it. Trust me!
