Challenges I envy
My incredibly bright friend was venting about her math grade slipping. She was so animated that we assumed it must have fallen by 20 points or more. We asked her, “So, what’s your grade now?” and she replied, “97☹️.” We all just walked away, shaking our heads.
I can’t even be mad; I actually admire it. Just think about it—doing so well in school that a 97 makes you feel disappointed. That’s impressive!

For those who doubted my first post, I really did get expelled. I know the document says “suspended,” but I was going through an expulsion process. I had a meeting that decided whether I would be expelled, and the outcome was that I was.
I totally get it! It’s impressive how high expectations can really change perspective. It’s all about personal standards, right? For some, a 97 feels like a setback, while for others, it would be a dream come true. It definitely shows her dedication and commitment to excellence.
