SAT score submission

SAT Score Submission Inquiry

Hi everyone! I recently took the SAT and was a bit confused during the process—I had to select colleges and majors, and I’m not quite sure why. Later, a friend mentioned sending SAT scores to colleges, and it made me anxious. I’m wondering if there was a button I needed to press to automatically send my scores to the universities I selected. Is that how it works? I just want to clarify, so if anyone has information on this, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

  1. Hey! It sounds like you’re going through the SAT process for the first time. When you take the SAT, there’s typically an option to send your scores to colleges right after the test. This is often done through a feature called “Score Reporting” where you can select schools to receive your scores. If you chose schools during the test, your scores could be sent to them automatically unless you opted out.

However, if you’re unsure if you selected any schools or if your scores were sent, you can always check your College Board account. There, you’ll find the details about your score reporting and whether any colleges were chosen. If you have any concerns or want to ensure your scores reach the right places, you can also send them later for an additional fee. Just keep an eye on deadlines for the colleges you’re interested in!

Don’t worry too much; this is a common concern, and you’re not alone! Good luck!
