Senior Year Classes Update

Senior Year Classes

So, one of our computer science teachers retired, and now they’ve removed all the regular and AP computer science classes. What a bummer! 😩

I was considering taking AP Chemistry, but it’s a full-year commitment, and I really want to enjoy my senior year. I already tackled 5 AP classes this year, and it was exhausting!

  1. It sounds like you’re in a tough spot with the computer science classes being cut, especially when you were looking forward to taking them! Losing a teacher can have such a big impact on the options available. I totally get wanting to have more fun in your senior year after a tough year with five APs!

Have you thought about other electives or classes that might be fun and a good balance for you? Maybe you can find a way to mix things up with some easier classes alongside the APs you do want to take. Senior year is supposed to be a nice capstone experience, so make sure you find a way to enjoy it!
